Beacon MedTech Solutions — formerly Built Rite-Reliance and LSR Engineering — recently announced that it has appointed medtech contract manufacturing veteran Michael McGee as its president.

McGee has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in the space. He was most recently GM of Nordson Medical’s precision medical components businesses. He was also previously corporate director of technology and R&D for Nypro, now Jabil Healthcare,

“Experienced in the design and manufacture of components for some of the industry’s leading and most-respected medical OEMs and contract manufacturers, Michael has a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of delivering growth and profitability,” May said in a July 29 news release. “His customer-centric focus and success in building high-performance teams will be invaluable as we look to drive market innovation and enhance the value we deliver to our customers.”

With customized engineering services for the medical, bio-pharma, and life sciences markets, Lancaster, Mass.–based Beacon MedTech Solutions has a focus on single-use technologies (SUT), liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molded components, and Class II medical devices.
