Masimo recently launched its SafetyNet-Open that is designed to businesses, governments and schools manage employee and student health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The remote patient monitoring solution helps coordinate the continuous monitoring of people through sensors and an app. Its centralized dashboard helps organizations understand patterns that could support contact tracing. The components of the system provide integrated and secure monitoring that organizations can use to identify when additional actions may be needed.
“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, businesses, governments, and schools around the world have to make difficult risk analysis decisions that balance the health and safety of their constituents with their communities’ needs. We are not in the position to suggest when it’s safe to reopen, but we are in the unique position to help those who are going to open, to open as safely as possible—and hopefully help them stay open,” founder and CEO Joe Kiani said in a news release.
