Contract manufacturer Medbio (Grand Rapids, Mich.) announced today that it is consolidating and rebranding its recent acquisitions, Polymer Conversions and AIM Plastics.

Medbio acquired Polymer Conversions in September 2020 and bought AIM Plastics in 2019. Polymer Conversions is a medical device contract manufacturer that specializes in complex thermoplastic injection molding and value-add assembly. AIM adds scale to Medbio’s business, which includes cleanroom injection molding, assembly, and packaging.

Consolidation will create continuity with corporate communications and customer experiences while expanding the company’s geographic presence to six locations in Michigan and New York, according to Medbio.

“I’m looking forward to combining the strengths of all three organizations under one brand to continue being the leading service solution provider for medical and biotechnology manufacturers,” said Medbio CEO Chris Williams in a news release.

Medbio is a portfolio company of Graham Partners, a private investment firm targeting industrial technology and advanced manufacturing companies.
