In this week’s DeviceTalks Weekly Podcast, senior executives from Avail Medsystems and AliveCor detail how their tools are helping medtechs remain in contact with both physicians and patients.

In the keynote interview with Daniel Hawkins, CEO of Avail Medsystems, says the company’s Procedural Telemedicine system will allow medical device sales representatives to observe more procedures remotely, using a camera systems and app that enables two-way communications.

Equally important, the company will provide the technology free of charge for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

“We make it easy for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers to bring the technology,” Hawkins said. “ We are able to make sure that utilization of it is in fact vendor neutral” for medical device supply companies.
