Iradimed (NSDQ:IRMD) announced today that president & CEO Leslie McDonnell has resigned, effective immediately, and former president and CEO Roger Susi has returned to replace her.
Susi had led the company for 27 years from its founding until stepping down last year. On July 29, 2019, the Winter Springs, Fla.-based MRI-compatible medical device developer announced that Susi would continue as the company’s chairman and chief technology officer, while McDonnell would assume the roles of president and CEO.

“I look forward to resuming as the company’s president and CEO and would like to thank Ms. McDonnell for her contributions during her tenure,” Susi said in a news release. “I remain optimistic about our future and am excited to lead Iradimed through its next stages of growth.”
In McDonnell’s last quarter as president and CEO, Iradimed increased revenues year-over-year but saw a slight dip in net income, while still reporting nearly $1.8 million in profits. The company also withdrew its 2020 guidance amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
